i m making a java language editor in c# using vs2012....and i m trying to obtain syntax highlighting for Java language using colorcode in richtextbox control....but unable to obtain any success....plzzzz help ASAP...!! :(

XML colorizing can't handle empty attributes. E.g., colorizing "<root><child value="X" /></root>" works, whereas, colorizing "<root><child value="" /></root>" does not.

Hi,
when the T-SQL code contains XML then XML tags interfere with HTML tags.

example (adding HEADER to HTML table):
SET @html.modify('insert <tr><th>date</th><th>user</th><th>version</th></tr> before (/table/tr)[1]')

Try entity tag <> into < >

Original description:

I just recently published my first commit to a new project on CodePlex. Part of it involves code generation and, as such, it contains a field named 'classes'. When the 'class' portion of the identifier is reached, everything after that is considered an identifier until the next opening brace ('{') is encountered.

Closed Issue: (?-x-i-s) Regex and Mono

Mono doesn't see (?-x-i-s) as valid options. Instead, it expects it in the format (?-xis).

To make the library work on Mono, you need to change the CompileRule method in LanguageCompiler to the following:

regex.AppendFormat("(?-xis)(?m)({0})(?x)", languageRule.Regex);

I will be logging a bug with the Mono team as well as the existing syntax is valid on .NET.

Closed Issue: Triple-slash C# comments are not colorized correctly for param tag.

The the string '<param name="userindex">' is colored green instead of grey when in a triple-slash comment. The following code was used to produce the results in the attached screenshot:

The colorizer does not recognize escaped Double Quotes in C#. For example, the following line:

string bug7284_Test = "Customer[@id=\"123\"]"; // bug 7284: strings with escapes

... renders with the 123\ as black instead of red.
